Andalusian Horse News Breaking News by Donna DeYoung ANCCE Keeps Promise Added 1/21/07 by Donna DeYoung In a letter dated January 4, 2008 (link will open as a PDF in a new window), ANCCE guaranteed “that all services currently in process will be completed and that the breeders will receive the documentation for their horses.” ANCCE promised “Before January 20th, each breeder who requested services from the PRE Stud Book will be sent details of the status each one of those services.” ALMOST true to its promise (just one day late), I received an email directly from ANCCE. The email came on January 21, 2008 at 10:12 am from Arancha Rodríguez Sainz de los Terreros, Área Internacional Libro Genealógico PRE ANCCE, PRE Stud Book. The email contained documentation that I had applied for and paid for my ownership cards for two mares, and that I had applied for and paid for inscription for three foals. I was told my applications were “in process” and I have a written record of it. This news item is important because it shows that ANCCE in Spain IS working with breeders in the U.S. without going through the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse or through IALHA.
