Andalusian Horse News Breaking News by Donna DeYoung ANCCE Denounces the Foundation's Mundial PRE Program Posted 02/13/08 by Donna DeYoung ANCCE posted this news item (in Spanish and in English) regarding their stance on the Foundation for the Pure Spanish Horse (Foundation) PRE Mundial program. ********* ANCCE STATEMENT FOR USA BREEDERS AND OWNERS The Foundation for the Purebred Spanish Horse in the United States has offered a series of public communiqués expressing its intention to establish an unofficial register for PRE Horses. ANCCE would like to clarify the following to all PRE horse breeders and owners in the United States: 1. ANCCE is the only Association that handles the PRE Stud Book. This Stud Book is the only one that exists for a PRE Horse anywhere in the world. 2. This responsibility arises from a Spanish Ministry of Agriculture Resolution dated December 11, 2007. The Ministry of Agriculture is the sole owner of said Stud Book as the PRE horse is a native breed to Spain, a fact that is recognized internationally. 3. The Ministry of Agriculture has rejected the direct application of the Foundation for the Purebred Spanish Horse in the United States for an independent collaboration in the administration of the Stud Book. This rejection was made by a Resolution dated December 17, 2007. 4. The Register created by the Foundation, known as “PRE Mundial”, will not be valid for the Stud Book (LG PRE). 5. ANCCE will not approve any activity organized by Foundation for the Purebred Spanish Horse in the United States, and this is extended to any other association linked to the so-called “PRE Mundial.” Foundation registrations, evaluations, conformational competitions, tribunals for qualified breeding stock and all other related events will not be approved by ANCCE for the Stud Book, the Book of Merits, the Selection Program, etc. 6. At the next meeting of the ANCCE Executive Board, to be held on February 15, 2008, the Board will initiate a disciplinary process against the Foundation for the Purebred Spanish Horse in the United States for their actions that will only lead to confusion among PRE breeders throughout the world and discredit the breed. The Executive Board will make their decision known to the ANCCE Board of Directors. 7. ANCCE is committed to providing Stud Book services to all PRE breeders and owners in the United States without any type of discrimination. To this end, the guideline will be established and all necessary resources will be utilized for the correct provision of LG PRE (Stud Book) services. ********** 11/02/2008 Comunicado Ganaderos de EEUU La Fundación de PRE en los Estados Unidos ha realizado una serie de comunicados públicamente... COMUNICADO DE LA ANCCE La Fundación de PRE en los Estados Unidos ha realizado una serie de comunicados públicamente, mostrando su intención de realizar un registro no oficial del caballo español. La ANCCE desea dejar claro para todos los ganaderos y propietarios de caballos en los Estados Unidos, lo siguiente: 1º Que ANCCE es la única asociación que gestiona el Libro Genealógico de Caballos y yeguas de PRE. Este Libro es el único para cualquier caballo de Pura Raza Española en todo el mundo. 2º Que esta responsabilidad nace de la resolución del Ministerio de Agricultura español de fecha 11 de diciembre de 2007. El Ministerio de Agricultura es el único propietario del Libro, al ser el PRE una raza autóctona de España, y así está reconocido internacionalmente. 3º Que el Ministerio de Agricultura español rechazó la aspiración de la Fundación del PRE en los Estados Unidos para colaborar en la gestión del Libro. Este rechazo se produjo por resolución del día 17 de diciembre de 2007. 4º Que los registros que haga la fundación en el llamado “PRE mundial” no tendrán validez alguna para el Libro Genealógico de caballos de Pura Raza Española. 5º Que la ANCCE no aprobará ninguna actividad organizada por la Fundación del PRE en los Estados Unidos. Esto se extenderá a cualquier otra asociación vinculada al llamado “PRE mundial”. Sus inscripciones, valoraciones, concursos morfológicos, tribunales de reproductores calificados, etc. no serán homologados por la ANCCE, a efectos del Libro Genealógico, Libro de Méritos, Esquema de Selección, etc. 6º Que el comité ejecutivo de la ANCCE estudiará en su próxima reunión de fecha 15 de febrero de 2008 la incoación de un expediente disciplinario a la Fundación del PRE en los Estados Unidos por su actuación, que sólo lleva a la confusión al ganadero de PRE de todo el mundo y al desprestigio de la raza. El comité dará traslado de su propuesta al Consejo Director de la ANCCE. 7º Que la ANCCE se compromete a prestar los servicios del Libro Genealógico a todos los ganaderos y propietarios de caballos los Estados Unidos, sin discriminación alguna. Para ello se establecerá el cauce a seguir y se seguirán poniendo todos los medios que sean necesarios para la correcta realización de los servicios del LG. [Home]
