Andalusian Horse News Breaking News by Donna DeYoung ANCCE Begins Talks with New Breeders Group (Not the Foundation) Added 02/01/08 by Donna DeYoung ANCCE and Breeders Group In a recent political move, the largest PRE breeders (by number of horses on their farms) in the U.S. met in California and signed a statement with ANCCE. ANCCE announced on January 22, 2008 that it had the breeders support. "Herein is a copy of the agreement by fifteen of the principal breeders in the  United States based on the number of mares that they represent, expressing  their support of the actions taken by ANCCE and their commitment to provide  the best service possible to all breeders throughout the world." USPRE was recently formed.  t's goals are to: Celebrate and promote the Pure Spanish Horse (P.R.E.); Foster the growth of the P.R.E. community in the United States; Advance among its members and to the public a better understanding of P.R.E. horsemanship with emphasis on Dressage; Recognize and honor the achievements of our P.R.E. Riders; Advocate good sportsmanship among USPRE members, friends and other organizations; Sponsor competitions and other activities for the purpose of furthering the art of P.R.E dressage and other educational activities at the local, state and national levels; Organize public P.R.E. exhibitions and clinics; Maintain cordial relations with and adhere to the regulations of the Spanish P.R.E Stud Book as managed by its regulating authority in Spain.
